Apex Sheds & Fencing have been designing and manufacturing bespoke buildings in Dereham in timber frame since 1998. Initially focusing on garden sheds we have grown to provide a variety of outdoor buildings including summerhouses, playhouses, stables, garages, garden offices and garden studios.

Our buildings are of the highest quality with flexible designs to accommodate your specific requirements. The materials we use are far superior to those mass produced units sold at DIY/Garden centres giving you a product which will outlast cheaper options on the market.

Not only do we provide superb garden buildings, but our prices are extremely competitive and in simple terms you get a great deal more for your money.

Our designs can be made to your exact requirement so you can have the windows and door positioned to suit your garden. Our ranges can be up to 2.5m high and a size to meet your needs. In fact whatever you may need we can do it!

Sheds can come in a variety of sizes to suit your individual needs and budget. Options include Apex or Pent style roof, featheredge or shiplap cladding. All sheds are screwed together, not nailed.

Deluxe Heavy Duty Workshops

These buildings can be modified to suit a variety of uses, machinery, storage, sports rooms, gyms, hobby rooms, offices, they can be fully insulated with rock wall insulation or Celotex insulation floors can have secondary Celotex insulation with moisture resistant tongue & groove chipboard with tongue & groove wall cladding or plaster boarded walls.

Fencing

Apex Sheds & Fencing is the biggest supplier of tanalised fencing supplies, garden fencing & fence panels, garden decking and gates in the Dereham area. All fencing options available, from simple garden panels to decorative trellis, with wood or concrete posts. We also specialise in gates, decking and pergolas. All of our products are manufactured on-site to ensure the highest quality possible. This also enables us to produce one-off designs for our customers who require something ‘non-standard’.

Close Board Fencing

Apex Sheds & Fencing Close Board Fencing is sometimes be referred to as Featherboard Fencing. This traditional Close Board Fencing is the industry standard solid boarded fence, and our most popular style of fencing supplied and installed. All our Close Board Fencing is Tanalised by us on site, we use locally sourced wood.

Counter Rail & Capping Option

An upgrade option is to also have a finishing counter rail and capping. The advantages of counter rail and capping is that it provides greater strength and an improved appearance. The counter rail is mortised into the posts and when the feather edge is attached it will provide a solid base for the capping to be secured to.

Post Top Option

These are available as an extra upgrade from the standard back weathered fence post. Your Posts for close board fencing can be shaped and 'topped' to suit your specification and budget. Back weathered posts are usually offered as standard with our standard close board fencing, whereas Round top is suited for use with counter rail and capping as an optional extra.

Close Board Fencing With Trellis

Another option is to have a garden trellis section to the top of your close board fence run. This gives a less visually intrusive fence but still the security of a close board fence. The light is allowed through the trellis on top of the fence and the trellis also allows the ability to grow plants up. We have a 300mm high, 450mm high & 600mm high trellis option available on all our garden close board fencing.
